Peanut Butter Slice

Serves:

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups almonds

  • ¼ cup natural peanut butter (try get one that is 100% just peanuts with no added nasties)

  • 2 tbsp nut milk (if needed)

  • 2 tbsp chia seeds

  • 7 dates soaked in ¼ cup boiling water

Method:

  1. Place dates in boiling water and let them sit for 5 minutes
  2. Line a small baking dish with baking paper
  3. Place all ingredients including dates and water they were sitting in, in a food processor and blend until well combined
  4. Spoon the mixture into the tray and drizzle over some extra peanut butter
  5. Place in the freezer for half an hour, serve cold

Note: These are all rough measurements so may need to play around a little.
